Sacramento, CA, November 7, 2009 - Sacramento Bee Garden Columnist Debbie Arrington writes about a 14-year-old Eagle Scout who enhanced the Friendship Garden at Mercy Hospital of Folsom as part of his Eagle Scout Project. Mercy Folsom and Mercy Foundation held a blessing ceremony at the garden and presented Eagle Scout Millun Atluri with a certificate of thanks for a job well done. Millun spent more than 1,000 hours designing, raising funds and implementing the changes to the garden which included planting 100 plants and trees, rebuilding a bridge, adding new fencing, installing a fountain run by solar energy and adding design elements including solar glass flowers.
