When my water broke at 35 weeks, my husband and I were shocked. We shouldn't have been after a long battle with infertility, plus kidney stones at 27 weeks. Nothing was going according to our plan.
But God's plan was greater for us.
From the first moment when I saw the now familiar faces of the nurses at Mercy Folsom, to the tender care from my anesthesiologist, I knew in my heart that our son would be fine, that this was God's plan.
When my doctor, Dr. Phelan, came in to perform my c-section despite not being "on call," I new God had placed us in his hands. And when I saw my 6 lbs 5 oz reason for living in the arms of the love of my life, I knew that God planned to have Jameson Barrett on this Earth for a reason.
